Jon began an apprenticeship at Human Kanvas in September of 2013, shortly after graduating from the Alberta College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Inspired by traditional, or “old school,” tattoos, you can expect to see bright colours and bold lines in Jon’s artwork. He describes his work as grim and dark, yet riddled with irony, puns, and fun characters. His works ranges from traditional black horror and dark metal styles to American pin-ups, and the ever-familiar candy skull images, as well as today’s trendy geometric dot-work.
